Poor CCO advice: Wash sales cost $500k

A Connecticut-based CPO/CTA has agreed to pay half a million dollars for not having compliance policies in place to prevent wash sales. The CFTC enforcement settlement announced May 18 doesn’t name the CCO but mentions the person’s key role in the case
