OCIE’s Never-Before-Examined Registered Investment Company Initiative
The national exam staff intends to focus on certain never-before-examined registered investment companies. Such examinations will focus on the following topics: compliance programs; annual contract review; advertising and distribution of fund shares; valuation of portfolio assets and net asset value calculations; and leverage and use of derivatives
